This will be the 6th edition of the annual Biopesticide Matchmaking Event, organised by Enterprise Europe Network and the Natural Resources Institute at University of Greenwich in partnership with the Agrisciences Group of the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) and Agri-food KTN.
The day is aimed at integrated pest management and biopesticide technology stakeholders: researchers and suppliers of current and new technologies, manufacturers, regulatory and government organisations/groups and of course, farmer and grower communities who are aspiring to use IPM principles and methodologies.
The network forum encourages and facilitates delegates to establish linkages with other players in the sector, to identify gaps, barriers and seize opportunities to collaborate as the pressures increase to reduce reliance on chemical usage.
The event, for which attendance is free, will follow the previously established format and comprise of:
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential co-operation partners. Meetings last 20 minutes which is usually enough time to build connections, then the bell rings and you move onto your next meeting.Still curious about the process? You can check the following short video prepared by Enterprise Europe Network.
Register until 9th April 2018 and make sure you tick the 'matchmaking session' box if you want to book meetings with other Biopesticide delegates, in addition to the attendance of the plenary talks in the morning.
Publish a profile that will be visible to the other registered delegates on the event website. This profile describes what you are looking for and are offering to potential partners.
The better your profile, the more meeting requests you will receive!
Between 14th March and 9th April 2018 you can send and receive meeting requests with other Biopesticide delegates registered for the session. A few days prior to the event you will receive a personal schedule with the times and table number for your meetings. You
can then keep up to date with last minute changes online or via the b2match app. Meeting requests are treated as accepted unless they have been declined.
